Ok I’ve been thinking about this over the last couple of weeks.

I have nothing against products made in other countries but I’ve noticed more and more nothing is made in America anymore or at least it seems that way.

Each day this past couple of weeks I’ve looked at the clothes i’m putting on and I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen an article of clothing that was made in the United States. And as I do my day to day things I’ve been looking to see what was made where and low and behold maybe 2 in 10 items are made right here.

Looking at the cars on the road and more and more of those are non US made vehicles and if they are made here how much of it was not?

Now I do believe it buying the best quality of a product which kind of adds another twist to this conversation.

I’m wondering how much of the reason that US corporations have moved outside of the United States due to the fact of Union costs and health benefits, taxes, employee perks and things like that, on top of the fact that so many Americans think they are owed a living.

American’s have gotten complacent and except subpar standards. Our economy would be much better if people worked harder spoke up and acutally cared about what was going on around them and took pride in where they live, where they work and what they do.

America wake up and give a care!

Christmas has always been a time of traditions, things we do every year to remeber the good times and fun times of seasons past. The anticipation of the first snow, the joy of hunting down that one special gift and wraping everything just so to bring smiles to the faces of friends and family. Seeing the excitement of the little ones faces when the Christmas buzz begins tends to make me feel young again too and share in that excitement.

Why is it that people try to throw tradition out the window as if it was merely a thought, something that took years to build upon, decades of excitement and joy discarded because things “seem” to hectic, busy or expensive. It doesn’t have to be that way it is what we make it. Smiles and gifts can be shared inexpensively, good times and memories can still be created with out all the hype, hurry and hustle.

Take time this Christmas to add to the traditions you’ve grown up with add to those traditions for generations to come and don’t whisk them away for something meaningless just because it’s faster, cheaper and takes less time to prepare.

We have but one chance to live this life, live it to it’s fullest, enjoy every moment, memory, and every ounce of Christmas magic from the past, present and future at all cost for tomorrow who knows where we’ll be.

I’m telling you frankly and I wish you the merriest of Christmas yet!

So much going on with finances and mortgages that it will make your head spin.

What can you do about it first and fore most VOTE – that is the only way you can start to make a difference. Not just for the president but also for your local offices. Remember it all starts at home.

Be sure to read up a little at your local news stations web site or your local newspapers website or even check to see if there are local voter sites to see what the people running for office is saying.

Be sure to Vote for someone you can choose with a clear concious don’t vote because of a persons race, age or apperance. Vote for some one that has good values, some one that knows what they are doing.

Also make this choice yourself don’t just vote for some one because a friend or relative is voting for that person.

I’m not going to voice my opinion in this post about who I’m voting for but remember Election Day is only a few days away so take some time each day before then and find out who YOU think should be in office.

I’m telling you Frankly to make a decision and VOTE!

Ok as web developer this really honks me off and is a major waste of time.

Microsoft for some reason likes to be different and creates their own rules and I don’t understand that.

Every other Browser plays by the W3 Consortium would it be that difficult to do?

Imagine if all the internet browser did that, everytime you developed a new web page you have to verify that it works in every browser and nothing would get done. Currently you have to check IE and then another browser.

All because IE uses scripts differently, looks at Cascading Style Sheets differently (CSS), allows sloppy html standards such as disregarding closing tags on paragraphs and others.

What will it take for them to make coding on the net Unified I mean really the have great products they would just be even better if they played well with others.

And Telling You Frankly…. That just eats me up!

~Frank~

One of the biggest things that REALLY bugs me is when a cigarette smoker just tosses their cigarette butt with out putting it out.

It is their privalage to smoke but why should it affect me? I don’t want to see these butts littering the outside of a mall, grocery, movie theater, there are places to put these.

It is even worse when these get “launched” from a moving vehicle landing where they will. I’ve had one hit my windshield and roll under the hood while stopped at a traffic light. I’ve also seen a friend loose a vehicle when a butt was launched into his car’s backseat landing in a blanket in the backseat which eventually ignited and burnt the car.

I know if I were to do the same thing with my occasionally soda bottle or candy wrapper I would get ticketed for littering (especially from a moving vehicle)

As I said it is the smokers right to smoke if they want, just take a second and dispose of the waste SAFELY!

that’s all I’ll say now about cigarettes and….

I’m telling you frankly!
